Privacy Policy

Golf Swing Score is operated by Nebulon Labs LLC, which is responsible for the personal information collected through the Service as described below.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from your Google profile.

Swing Videos and Simulator Screenshots

When you analyze a swing, you upload videos of yourself swinging a golf club (face-on and down-the-line) and, optionally, a screenshot from a golf simulator or launch monitor. These files are stored in your account so you can play them back and have them re-analyzed.

Body-Position Data

To analyze your swing, the Service estimates the positions of your joints (for example shoulders, hips, wrists, and knees) frame by frame. Pose estimation runs in your browser, and the resulting joint positions and swing metrics (such as tempo, rotation, and head movement) are sent to our servers to score your swing. We use this data only to analyze your golf swing. We do not use it, or your videos, to recognize your face, verify your identity, or identify you to anyone.

Shot Data

If you upload a simulator screenshot, we read the numbers in it (such as ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and carry distance) and store them with that swing.

Subscription Information

If you purchase an analysis or subscribe, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We receive a customer ID, billing email, and purchase or subscription status from Stripe to manage your account.

Usage and Device Information

We may collect information about how you use the Service, such as features used, and basic device and browser information (e.g., browser type, operating system) to keep the Service working and improve it.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Service, including scoring your swing, detecting faults, and recommending drills
• To manage your account, authentication, purchases, and subscription
• To show your swing history and progress over time
• To communicate with you about the Service
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your videos or body-position data to train models offered to anyone else.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase and Google Cloud (Google): authentication, database, file storage, hosting, and the Cloud Vision API used to read simulator screenshots. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• MediaPipe (Google): the pose-estimation library that runs in your browser. Your video frames are processed on your device by this library.
• Stripe: payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your swing videos or body-position data with advertisers. We may share information only:

• With the service providers listed above, to operate the Service
• With your consent, such as when you choose to share a swing report
• To comply with legal requirements
• To protect the rights and safety of Golf Swing Score and its users

5. Data Security

Your uploads are stored in private, per-account storage that only you can access when signed in. We use industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase/Google Cloud and Stripe to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

The Service uses Firebase Authentication, which stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. We do not currently run advertising trackers or third-party behavioral analytics. If we add them, we will update this policy first and honor the opt-outs described on our Do Not Sell or Share page, including Global Privacy Control.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information, swing videos, screenshots, and analysis results for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual swings or request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us; we will complete deletion within 30 days, except for records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Request a portable copy of your data, including your uploaded videos
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information)

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@golfswingscore.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

10. Where Data Is Processed

Data is processed and stored in the United States on Google Cloud infrastructure. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information is transferred there.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
